Why This Book Exists When I first published 365 Days of Optimism in 2018, I was learning how to stay hopeful while life felt uncertain. Since then, life has deepened me. I’ve walked through divorce, nervous system healing, rebuilding self-trust, and guiding others through seasons of profound transition — as a coach, a mother, and a woman learning to listen to her body instead of pushing past it. What I now understand is this: Optimism isn’t about positive thinking. It’s about safety. It’s about regulation. It’s about learning how to meet yourself kindly, even on the hardest days and let your resilience and capacity expand from there to reveal your deepest wisdom.
